Moroso Vacuum Regulator. adjustable or shimmable?
The direct mount on the pump reg. and see they have 2 models. One with the disc (22633, shimmable) to stack and another with a ****, turn to adjust. (22629)

I've only used the disc style, and not the **** adjust. So I'm not sure if its just open threads or clicks or anything? The thing is the car gets street drivin alot, so might want to lower it some times. If it pulls 15-18, lowing it to 8-10 for trips ect. So not sure if you can just mark the **** or something you keep the settings?

says it has a locknut to keep the setting untill changes are needed.
My engine builder said he likes the shimmable one better, so thats what I went with... has had more consistant vacuum with them I guess.

I just received my mounting bracket for the pump and I went with the **** type. It isn't graduated and doesn't have any sort of "click" mechanism, so you would have to put some marks on it at if you wanted to have a couple of settings to go to quickly. I went with it for the same reason you mentioned, street miles versus track time. Which pump are you running? Moroso 3 or 4 vane, or something else?
