Question Need launching Tips ASAP for M6!!

Hey guys I know you here this all the time, But I am going to the track tomorrow and need some tips on launching My car? I have a 1999 camaro SS M6 with some bolt ons, nittos, and a spec stage 3 clutch. I have raced it at the track before but only with a stock clutch that was easy to slip. But the spec stage 3 is a lot different, not much slip!!! ANY tips would be great! I went 13.15 @ 107 with a 2.2 60ft last year with the stock slipping clutch, so I would love to bring home a 12 sec time slip! Once again any tips would be great!!!

drop the tire psi. down to 14 do a real good burn out and launch around 3800 for starters.See were those tires are gonna hook.Nitto's dont hook up the greatest. If the car bog's down launch higher. If you spin lik mad launch lower and try adjusting tire psi. I use M.T E.T. streets and hook pretty good. Here's a launch at 3800 rpm with the stock (02's got the ZO6 upgraded clutch) clutch ftp://68.194.14.214/files/racing_vid...2TransAmWS6LS1

Do a short spin in the water then pull foward and heat up the tires till you see smoke

*depending on track prep*
put the tire PSI @ 18-20#.(if you go lower the tires tend to cup)
Do a second gear burnout, really heat the tires.
Start @ 2500 rpms since it is early in the season,if it bogs increase 500 rpm's.

launch lower, your spinnin to much off the line. Can tell by your 60 ft.I used to bog my car off the line and get a 12.5 out of it when I still had my stock rear. The mph is there, get your 60 ft. down. Walk it out then get on it if you have to ftp://68.194.14.214/files/racing_vid...2TransAmWS6LS1

Well, I don't think any of that should matter if I have a lower 60' than he does...

I mean, how can I have a faster 60', a faster trap speed, 25 more RWHP, and 30 more RWTQ, and run the same ET? That doesn't make sense to me... I'm a little frustrated I am not in the 12s....

First ,do you have a stock rear? What tires are you runnin? What psi. are your tires at? Before I blew me rear I would pull a 1.78 60 ft. or better and run a 12.3 at 109. It's all in your launch. And if your not running the right tire you wont get to were your running times your happy with.So answer those few things for me and I'll do my best to help you out. It makes all the diff. in the world for your 60ft. to be lower.

Stock 3.42 rear, BF Goodrich KDW 275's, and I don't know the PSI because I forgot to drop them down last time.

But, if my 60' is better than his was already, it doesn't make sense that my time would be the same as his with more power... that is all I am saying. I don't need low 12 second ETs, but I feel like I should be in the high 12s even with these tires. If I have a better launch, and more power, I should have a faster ET, right? That isn't what his happening... he is running 13.1 @ 107 w/ a 2.2 60'. I am running 13.1 @ 109 w/ a 2.1 60'.

The one thing I was thinking of is that I might be shifting too late? I am driving it right up to redline in every gear before I shift... maybe I need to shift sooner? 5700? 5800?

Sweet

All I want right now though, is to clip the high 12s with my current setup.

It would seem to me that if someone can run the same ET as me with a slower 60' and less power, there must be something I am doing wrong AFTER the launch where I am losing some time...
