Default Launch RPM's/ New to the Track

What is a good launch RPM for my 2002 Supersport? Ive been in Hawaii for the last 5 years. There are no tracks out there! But im now here in SOCAL so headed to Barona again soon! Also i have the stock rearend! Dont want to break it! Any help would be much appreciated!!

volant intake , 6 speed (M6) , Jet-Hot 3inch hooker headers. no drag radials just Falken FK452 tires

If you are on street tires tires i'd start by basically coming off idle and go from there. You are not going to hook well at all with a 6-speed and street tires coming off the line

What I did, my first time at the track last year was leave off of 1400rpm I believe..tried a couple leaving off of idle..really just experiment each run.

Thanks man i appreciate its a test and tune so i should some time to get it right. Mustangs vs the World is coming to SoCal and i wanna run against these guys.

Yea the track here I went to 3 test and tunes. Very first trips down the track. Just need to figure out the sweet spot with the car. Guess I had it really easy since I was on baby street tires.

Just experiment with different rpms, try leaving close to a idle and then work you way up as long as you still have traction.

i had to launch at 2500 on our local track anything else was bog city .
