Default Hot Cam track time's

Went to Clay City KY tonight and ran my car w the new cam in it i am kinda impresed w it but not all the way i just need tune now.....
best time
12.76 1/4 @110mph N/A

let me know what u all thank of the run w out tune and 2:73 gear and stock converter....

Nice times, since you already have headers get gears and a convertor.

I think it was 13.1 @ 103 or 104

If you picked up 6-7 MPH with no other changes from a cam change alone then that is an awesome gain. However, I'd guess there were other factors involved.

i was runing on bald nitto's then i only ran one run all other's were nitrous run's i think
it could of ran better...

do u think it will be a 11sec car w edit, 3800 stall, gear what size gear should i run and a set of bfg's or et street's ?

colonel give me some 11sec sugestion's

Converter is a 100% absolute must-have with an auto, even MORE so with 2.73 gears

As for gears your going to want 3.73's or 3.42's

i'd put a 3.73 gear and a nice loose converter in there..someting like a vig pump number 7 or similar and the car would be an animal.

You can run 11s with the 2.73 gears if you want. A TCI 3800 and PLENTY of traction will get you there. If you must change gears then I'd probably go with 3.42s considering you like the bottle.
