Gears will help a lot provided you can give them enough traction. My old set up was in the 370rwhp range and I had stock clutch and 10 bolt. On a **** track I ran 12.5 @ 111mph with a 2.1 60ft on stock 275 F1s. Your car can run 11s but you'll have to get a rearend that'll take abuse and a clutch too. I would not be shifting above 6500 if you are depending on the stock tach, it's way off up top.

your car should run mid 11's and trap 120+ with that power IF driven correctly...

your sixty is bad, your 1/8 et and mph are horrible...its all just bad...

if you are confident your car is still making the power it did on the dyno then just practice driving it...good luck...

some people get lucky some dont.I snapped a axel with just boltons and 4.10 gears and mickey E.T. streets. I ran a 12.2 before I did H&C with just boltons and a sticky tire.My 60ft. was a 1.64 and the car felt really good .Tried for a little more out of it and launched harder and snapped a axel.If you drive this car to the track your taking a chance cause you have enough power to snap a axel or blow the center section.Save for a rear or build up your stock one with better axel's and gears.Just save up for the rear.We all go threw this with m6's.If it was a A4 you would get away with it ,but you dont.Have money for a tow home i your glove box ready if you don't do something wih that rear.If you drive it hard ,you will break it. ftp://68.194.14.214/files/racing_vids/02WS611.5%20pass
