Can the rear bars of a rollcage go into the hatch on an f-body?

wondering if the rear bars can be run to the framerails in the hatch rather than mounting them on top of the gas tank. Will it pass tech for am 8.50 cage? Thanks

Placement of the rear bar mounting points to the top side of the rails in front of the tail light panel will make no difference in certification. You still have to use a 6x6 plate at all attacing points.
