I got a lot done today. Pulled the original motor and front suspension out... Found some interesting stuff when I pulled the heads off the old motor.
All of the pistons had kissed valves.
This motor had a Trex cam and dual springs. This is probably the result of a missed shift.
Stock brakes and front end before removal.
Getting parts laid out
The afcos are in but they will not work correctly with this front end. I'll be calling around to check my options. Looks like a shorter body shock is required. Pretty bummed about that.
Setting up the new hubs.
I'm not going to have time to work on the car tomorrow so I already put it back in storage to get it out of the shop and I completely forgot to get pics of it on the ground. It is low and mean looking.
The front tires tuck in way more than I thought they would. I'm going to have to get used to the narrowed front end look. But over all the racecraft front end kit is a killer setup!
Edit Talked to Madman and my shocks will be fine with a set of travel limiters.

I got some more work done today.
ARP studs and ls9 gaskets
Doing valve springs the old way. Can't believe I still haven't purchased a decent valve spring tool.
Motor plate and hot pipes mocked up. Ignore the truck water pump. I forgot the f-body pump at home.
