gas level at track how much gas do you guys run in at track i went to track yesterday to try out my th-400 with brake when i leave on break it leaves good then starts to fill off at end of 60' then comes back...i had 1/4 of a tank didnt no if it was fuel slosh.... can u modified the stock tanks anyway?

Yea that what i thought maybe i wasnt letting the trans brake go all the way 4500rpm where it stops at ...im still trying to get use to the trans brake...i need to move trans brake button from the shifter to steering wheel.

There is a bucket in the tank that keeps fuel always around the pump. Some pump kits modify this bucket so it no longer works. I found this out the hardway and had to return my kit and get a racetronix kit that is a bolt in and retains the bucket.

Verdad Gallardo A stock style pump uses a venturi system. It keeps the bucket full at all times even when almost Empty.
Unless modified your normal walbro pumps don't come with this. Therefore you have to cut the bottom of the bucket out and drill holes in the side.. Otherwise whenever you corner or accelerate hard the pumps could suck air instead of fuel. It also Will heat the pumps causing premature failure.
If your bucket has not had the bottom cut out and sides drilled, do it. Mighty mouses write up in the fueling section is a great on to follow... A bit down the page shows a modified bucket.
