Project JUICE 2 new build
We made some good times out of a heads cam car weighing 3200lbs and had fun got the car down to 3200lbs with me driving the car.
So its time to get serious with new build this year goal is to hit low 8s with the new set up. I will post some details as I go but thought I would share some of the build and pics. We sent the car off to get a even bigger weight reduction.

I was thinking about going out farther so it stuck inside the lower profile of the camaro front bumper cover (under the grill). So it kinda sat on/around the tube. (like the chassis car front end fork mounting kits)
Low would be easy to step over, you could jack it up easy with a jack pad or post (not full weight probably) Keep the front end better for bumping things, and dragging/scrapping. But might wear a flat in it faster then just letting it flex, if it didn't have a soil tube right behind it? If you do drag it going fast. Low bar you could put a tow hook pin setup on it easy and it would face up. (you would see it a little up close) I dont think you could push the car on the nose still, with smaller 3/8 - 1/2 tubes for the top of the nose and the hood rail. So the bar higher more tight over the grill, under the nose emblem, would be better for that. You could put the tow tube hole under the "beak" overhang on the grill and hid it nice. I have a flush mounter flathead allen bolt there not to a alum bar setup on my front end now, but with all the stock front sheet metal. You could push the car easy on the nose with the bar behind it, would be harder to work on with bar higher at knee level with the nose off. But I think you would make it removable anyway if it want all the way to the nose. You would be able to get a normal size engine picker to pull the motor back that far. It would be nice if the top bar at the end of the fenders was removable too. There alot of ways to do it, I'm just thinking having a bigger HD tube to the nose would be better for street driving, going off the road, getting hit form the side. Minor fender benders you can fix the car still. Then having it all small lightweight tubes going to the nose. Past the cut frame rails, like some of the super light cars do, Mshall/widowmakers, smurff/SSP. That would be a W T F moment on the street, some lady side swipes the front end going slow and her stock accord just broke the headlight.
And the front gets ripped off, with the headlights, and rad Just the engine showing
These are just theoretical situations, and illegal to do
Again the car looks great John and Josh, cant wait to see it in person soon.

We hole sawed the crap out of the car
and sheded weight were we didnt need it.
