I just started getting into actually driving MY car at the strip rather than being a spectator. My question is when you get a good tire like a drag radial or slick, do you launch hard by revving the engine high and dropping the clutch and go? I went down a smaller track yesterday, basically I slowly rolled off the line and than gunned it. Obviously my times were slow...
