Default What helmet for glasses?

Like the title says, i'm looking for a quality full-face helmet for the drag strip. I would prefer to spend less than $500. This is gonna be my first time buying a helmet, so any and all suggestions and advice are welcome. Thanks.

HJC RPHA 10, if you want something that fits eyeglases, or a bell star if you dont mind squeezing the glasses to fit right. Both are great and light helmets with good ventilation.

Theyre both under 500 if you look hard enough.

ive never used that helmet before but it is SA certified. I dont think the ones i listed are. Theyre pretty much motorcycle helmets as you can tell by the sig. Youre better off with a drag racing helmet than a motorcycle though, since they are designed differently.

With a full faced helmet my glasses were hard to put on and they fog up all the time. I went with a open face, easy to put on and off, glasses don't fog up and a lot cooler.

I run the Simpson Bandit with my eyeglasses. I flip my visor down right before I get into the bulbs and don't have a problem with it fogging up.

I run the carbon fiber G-Force helmet. slip it on, then slip the glasses in. I didnt have any fog issues on mine and that was during an AutoX event were you spend more time racing than a quick sprint down the strip. I installed the air deflector that comes with it as well so that may be why i'm not foggin up.

I have the Impact 1320, and I like it. I drive with my regular glasses and sun glasses (prescription) with no problem.

$295 from Jegs, free shipping.

I ended up just getting a full face Bell Helmet and took the flip down visor off. I just take my glasses off, put helmet on and put glasses back on. It does get tedious sometimes, but I've never had a issue with fogging obviously or any tech problems at the track. Next helmet I get though will be an open face helmet though. Anybody know how fast you can go with an open faced helmet BTW?

9.99 and faster requires a full face helmet.

Which bell helmet was it? I was checking out the vador bell helmet but I think it might be too tight for my glasses.

It's a Bell Sport Helmet. It's not too tight, but it is snug putting my glasses back on through the helmet. I don't need to use enough pressure to the point where it will bend the frames or anything, but I use both hands putting my glasses back on to ensure I don't bend them. Once my glasses are on everything feels fine.

I have a Bell, and I'm doing what you do. No fog.
