Default Th400 spacers - come inside! - pics

Ok so I read here that everyone uses a 1" spacer with the M6 cross member.
I was lazy and ordered the Spohn Th400 spacer, it came and it is 1.5" thick!
Is that too much?

I can't even use it because it has 2 bolt holes and my BMR cross member has 1 bolt hole. So I am having another spacer made locally out of aluminum - but do I tell them to make it 1" thick like everyone else, or 1.5" thick like this Spohn piece I ordered - who is right and who is wrong?

I'd like to get this made soon, so let me know if you know, or let's take a vote!

I'd have to check, but it seems like my spacer is 1".

Spohn says to drill 2 holes in the M6 crossmember to use their spacer - but my issue really is how high should the spacer be?

How do I measure my driveline angle? I don't have a driveshaft made that fits yet do I need that?

skip to about 3:40ish

gives you a basic idea of what to look for. I've heard different windows of degree to shoot for.

Another link to give you a better idea

just measure what you have and adjust accordingly from there

Ok thanks
I'll get the transmission and driveshaft in with the spacer I have now, and then measure everything and take it from there.

Nuts, I thought it was going to be an easy answer

Update

I mocked it all up tonight and my BMR crossmember can't move the bolt back far enough to use a spacer, so I just ordered their TH400 cross member. Problem solved!

Mine took a 1 inch spacer to get driveline angle back to where it was with T56. I bout a 1 inch and a bunch in 1/8 inch to adjust up and down and measure angle. 1 inch was the result.
