Default How can i improve my time or can i?

98 Z28 M6 the only mod is a lid.

Current times are 2.23 60'
9.87 1/8
14.44@99.89 mph

i know these times suck but remember im in west texas air our elevation is around 3800 asl so the air sucks. That night i ran i believe air was estimated to be at around 5000 (however its measured) with humity and what not.

Im just curious if my time should be a little faster because i have seen cars hit 13's with my mph. What might improve my 1/4 time. Im also running on stock radials.

Something doesn't jive.... Your 60ft is in line with your 1/8th mile time, but your 1/8th mile time equates to a 15.49, but you went 1 second faster at 14.44 at 99.89 mph, with your mph good for high 13's....

The car was spinning real bad when i hit second. Im thinking of trying some drag radials this weekend see what happens. im shifting at 6100 rpms. I think i could hit a 13 with that mph.

OH yea correction on the DA it was around 6800, the air suck over here

dude, you just need practice. you need to get that 60' down to 2.0. i was pulling 2.3 in my 17sec diesel tank. if you run drag radials and launch a lil better you should pull 1.8's and run mid 13's no problems at no less than 103mph
