Tire inflator. I went to the track Friday night and found the tires aired down hooked MUCH better. Before I left the track I hooked up my little inflator and aired the tires back up. That took forever. I would like to buy one that is reliable and fast. I went looking on Amazon and many of the more powerful ones have a reputation for blowing cigarette lighter fuses.
I am thinking if blowing the fuse is an issue, I can wire a dedicated socket into the trunk to handle the needed power. Any experience out there? I drive the car to the track, no trailer.

It is a small track. I don't think they have a compressor. Or a scale. Or race fuel. But it is the closest to the house at only an hour away.
I have a small air tank, I just didn't think that would be enough. I guess I will have to take that for a trial run.

I use my Ryobi 18 Volt lithium powered inflator. I have a lot of Ryobi cordless tools so it made sense for me at $39 without a battery. It is digital and you can put any psi setpoint on it, turn it on and walk away. It takes less than 5 minutes to go from 16psi to 26psi on my 275/60 drag radials. I use for all kinds of stuff like inflating air mattresses, lawn mower tires, basketballs and bike tires.
