slow trans am times?? help!!

Default slow trans am times?? help!!
my dad has a 98 trans am a4 127k shorty headers, stock y pipe, magnaflow cat back and 4.10 gears.. been tuned up.. plugs ff pvc so on..
best he has run is 13.8 at 101. after like 20 passes with three different nights and drivers that's the best.. why would its number be so off? on same nights my 00 z28 with lid and 3.73 run 13.37 @ 105.3.. my dads gonna buy parts and pay me to get his car running 11s.. but I wanna find why its running slow to start with.. any help please thank you!

98s don't have an lsd like the 99+ do? Also aren't camaros lighter.

Look it up the limited slip got put in the 99 trans am. Unless your dad has one now is what you are saying.

Probably something in the tune. But check fuel filter plugs wires coil packs. It should be trapping 105+

the torsen differential was made standard on 99+. 98 was auburn.

I changed these things. I think its in the tune. Myself.. I think of getting him to get a stall and have it tuned by mot frost.. see if it helps the mph

I don't remember right off hand but I think like 2.1 but im not worried but time as much as mph being off 4 mph
