mail order tune... slower!!

'00 z28 a4 lid ,k&n, bbk header ory, 3.73 DR,s. Well I guess I have a over size mass air flow sensor.. I didnt put that on.. mike @vengeance tuned it. Before tune trapped 107.6 after 106.2.. car feels stronger but wasnt showing it at track.. I took car there tohave a mail order tune bc of codes. Get it close but must backed me up

I don't mean this in a negative way, but mail order tunes are only good enough to get you by. I had a mail order tune done by Frost and granted the car ran and drove fine, it was sub-par to what you can get on the dyno. I suggest get a real chassis dyno tune. Most mail order tunes are tuned to the "safe" side. Like timing will be dialed back...its like that to protect you.

Never tuned a Camaro, but have tuned a few ls engines over the years. Yeah a mail order tune is basically a generic tune that is considered to be incredibly safe.
I bought the HP tuner kit years ago, the only way to tune an individual engine to run the best it ever can, every engine is slightly different and may respond better to individual mods.
Don't no what they charge for a mail tune....... but the HP tuner kit and wideband cost me 1200 dollars I thin,k and comes with enough credits to do three cars.
