Well it's really a matter of personal opinion. I have long tubes, ORY, and a Magnaflow bullet muffler with a Flowmaster merge pipe, and really like it a lot

gmmg ( mad hammer) best by far when it comes to catbacks, but any good true dual setup will always sound better than a y pipe, only catback i would go back to is a gmmg

another vote for Borla xr-1. Best sounding muffler I have had. Reasonably quiet at idle and cruise, but sounds wicked when you get into the throttle

Texas Speed Shortblock (stock crank, diamond pistons, callies compstar rods) stage 1 LS6 heads, Vengeance Ported Fast 92mm, Kooks 1 7/8 Longtube headers, Yank 4000 Stall, Pheonix Built stage 2 trans and a Midwestern Chassis 9in w/ 4.11s.

kooks long tubes and ORY and a Maganflow catback. sounds awesome at WOT! check out the video:

I'm loving my 1 7/8 TSP headers with TSP X pipe true duals going into the bullet mufflers with turndowns. It's really not that loud other than at idle either!

I agree Madhammer is the only one i'd run.

I have 1-7/8 headers and TSP duals with their bullets:

I want to change them out for Flowmaster Outlaws but I plan to go turbo so I likely wont mess with it.

Agreed. I run this also. It is reserved at aidle, but it screams on the top end.

Best thing for you to do is go to the track or locate local owners and listen/examine the LS fbodies/LScars. Sound is a personal taste...

I have tsp 1 7/8" headers and ory, was going into a lm1 and didnt like it at all, started experimenting with mufflers and used a bassani muffler in place of the lm1 one and i like it alot.

Another GMMG (mad hammer) for cat back, but Kooks TD are the ultimate.

Yes, I went from LTs + GMMG to full Kooks stepped headers w/TDs.
