Default Things you do/change/install/remove at the strip to help times?

Just wondering whats all out there as far as helping times. Thanks.

Here's what I know of so far:

1. remove air filter
2. remove a/c belt
3. short belt for bypassing the power steering

Remove passenger front seat,
Remove rear seats.
Remove spare tire and jack,
Thats a couple of things i remeber off the top of my head, I usually leave all those things out all the time.

Sorry didnt specify, Im looking for little odds and ends, the things you listed would be considered weight reduction mods. Thanks for you help though.

Remove front sway bar end links, Only 1/4 tank of gas, Mix 100 octane with pump gas to reduce/eliminate knock.

I would consider the swaybar endlinks as weight reduction as well, but Ive completely removed it anyway. I forgot to mention the 1/4 tank thing, I always do that, it just slipped my mind when listing. Never thought about the 100 octane mix, but I dont know of anywhere around here that has 100 octane.

100 octane is a waste.
Run 93 and do the other things everyone told u.

yeah unless youre tuned to run on 100 octane or have a poweradder it wont do much. you wont detonate, but you wont go any faster.

Guys, running straight 100 octane is useless ... if you can get 93/94 octane at the pumps! But if you do not have 93/94 octane in your area (like us in So-Cal) it helps to mix it in. That is what Jenibella is saying. Higher than 93/94 won't do much. We typically mix two parts 91 to one part 100 to get 94 octane. 91 octane will ping upto 8 degrees of knock retard on a stock tune (it does on the SS).
