Default Shift point RPM at strip

So, just got back from the strip. Best run was 12.9 @111 MPH. (Street tires/100 degree heat). I have exhaust mods/gears/224 cam...mods in sig.

I set my shift light at 5800 RPM, as I have the legendary "soft peddle problem when hard shifting" and it's hard to get into gear sometimes. I found if I lowered the RPM on shifts I would make "most" of my gear changes. I assume setting my light to come on at 5800 = me shifting at 6000 due to human delay.

I have an upgraded clutch, new slave/master cylinder (well 3 years old anyways) and has really helped with the high rpm shifting.

What I am getting at is how much MPH am I leaving on the table shifting at 58-6000 RPM as opposed to 63-6400 RPM...(rev limiter is 6500)....I have the upgraded valvetrain, done when the cam went in. I know ET is hard when running street tires. I was dyno tuned @ 375 to the wheels.

I am curious to hear what anybody has to say. I know my 2-3 gear change is slower than the 1-2 or 3-4.....
