Going to bump this up as I'm getting my 2-step tomorrow and need to wire it to my trans brake as well. I have a cheetah shifter and the brake is wired to the shifter button and now need to tie the 2-step into that same button. Bump for you guys who have tested this out for a while.

I've had mine wired with and without a relay.
Didn't like the way it responded with a relay.
I put them on a relay with the Cheetah shifter because the wire on the Cheetah button is so small.
So I bought a transbrake button for the steering wheel and got rid of the relay.
I have both the tb and 2 step wired off this button.
I used the hots on the button and grounded the TB ground wire.
I forgot if the 2 step needs a ground. I think you can either activate it with the hot or the ground wire.
