Pulled the dash, 2 black boxes?
Pulled the dash, 2 black boxes? Well searched and couldn't get the answer. The One small box has two connectors behind the radio area mounted on the giant ducting. What is it? second would be I am guessing the BCM??? its on the r/s of the dash with a large connector. Otherwise pulling all the hvac crap and dash mat! Guessing plug up the vaccum line that goes to the engine bay. Any help would be great. EDIT!! I read you can remove the dash brace? The metal that goes all the way across? Seems dash would be supported the greatest.

If you have the ability to disable the VATS with tuning software then you can get rid of the BCM. As long as you aren't concerned with interior lights and radio continuing to work. You need to ground a yellow/black wire that feeds a ground to the fuel pump relay from the BCM and the car will run(with VATS disabled in the PCM).

Thanks man. Vats should have been disable when I had it tuned! Going to finish it up tonight. Was a pain to get to some of those bolts for the hvac box. But that bitch is out.
