Default Windshield fog/steam at the dragstrip

My 93 z28 is fogging up real bad at the strip. I have only had the car for a couple months and have ran at the track twice. The second time I ran it, it was a cooler night and my inside of my windshield fogged up bad. It seems like anytime I get the motor hot, turn the car off and then back on (like waiting in the staging lane or going into a store for that matter) air comes out of the defrost vent in the dash and hits the windshield causing the fog. Last time at the strip, I got almost to the finish line and literally 0% visibility. Bout scared me to death...just had to hold the steering wheel straight, hit the brakes and hope I didn't run off the track/into the wall. I know people recommend fog x , but I would really like to fix the source. By the way, I replaced the heater core since that particular night at the strip and it still fogs up.????

Might have a condensation issue or leak in the interior.

I just got the heater core replaced. That is one of the reasons I decided to replace it (it was clogged too). I thought it would fix the problem, but nothing...
There is no visible leak or wetness in the floor/carpet.

Keep the window opposite of the tower cracked like 1/2" (if you have electric windows) and after your burnout put it back up. This should keep the temp inside closer to the outside temp.

Is the weatherstrip at the back of the hood missing? I took mine out to test and it fogged the **** out of my window.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will try a combo of things, including fog-x. As long as I don't crash and burn I'm happy. I will look closer, but I think the weatherstripping is good. I am going to attempt to make something that directs the air out of my dash vent away from the windshield (kinda like those plastic things people put on heater vents in houses. I will let you know what works or what doesn't.
