Got M/T tires in the Mail

Got M/T tires in the Mail Ok here it is , My M/T drag slicks came in the mail 3055s, 28x10.5 stiff side wall, I know they are to be with in 1/2 of roll out says M/T site. The size of my tires that's marked on the tires are 88 7/8 and 89 1/2 which is 5/8. Is this going to be a problem after I mount them or will they be with in 1/2 of an inch?
I Got them through summit because they have free shipping. What I have been reading indicates its a crap shoot when ordering tires through them , bout the roll out of the paired tires anyway.
Not sure Bout this, looking for input on personal experience with this subject.

You can stretch them some. Do you have one of the narrow tapes the guys at the track running the tire trucks use. They are more accurate than trying to use a wide one from the parts store, etc.
Usually 40lbs or so for a day, laying in the sun will get you that much. Stiff sidewalks are a little harder to stretch, as are radials.
Stiff sidewall bias tires are for stick cars, guess that's what you have? If it carries the front tires very far you sure want them the same diameter if you have a spool in the rear end. Sure nice when they go straight. Not as big a deal with a posi.
I think you will like them. My car sure does. Mine likes them better than Hoosier & Good Year.
