what class do run?
Been trying to figure out what to do with my next project. Been thinking of a heads up stock suspension car and run some true street stuff. Or an index car. Maybe just 10.0 index or something. I really like the SS heads up stuff though. What kind of classes does everyone else run?

Brackets, Street ET, Pro ET, 11.50 Index, LSX Rumble, True Street 12.0, and pretty much any non electronics class they let me run along with some electronics too lol
I like an 11.50 car, no bar, no jacket, tons of fun and slowing to 11.50 means my car barely breaks a sweat 200-300 passes a year no breakage is fine by me. Yeah faster can be fun but I hate working on my cars I'd rather be racing

I thought about a bracket car. Maybe I'll do a bracket/true street deal and keep it with street manners. I really want to give ultimate/ultra street a go on radials. Maybe just a class filler to support the car count. Lol

As much as my wallet will regret it I'm kinda leaning towards heads up radial. The wife likes radial racing too. One of the reasons I married her..lol. Thanks for the input guys...

I here that a lot and see it. But I like a good challenge. I'm thinking maybe and ultra/ultimate street car with some street manners and just class fill in a few races a year and see where it goes..if I don't like it I still got a not so hacked up street car.

outlaw 8.5 is up and coming... i used to run a class called street challenge where the only rules were come on a 255/60/15 true street radial tire... that was lots of fun till we started going low 9's and people just faded away...

I would look at what classes are run in your area. Around here (ohio) we don't have any local ultra classes but 8.5/x235 is pretty big. Obviously you can always travel but unless you are in the south it's hard to run all the big events.

I'm in north fl so I got Bradenton and SGMP. So radial racing wouldn't be a problem. I was really hoping x235 would work its way to the south. I really like the way it looks. Maybe in the next few years it will spread. I was mainly curious what everybody else does. Thanks for all the input.

That looks like it would be a lot of fun. I've never been around that before. I grew up around drag racing. But one day I may look into that its a bit out of the norm for me though. Thanks for sharing you may have sparked a future interest.

My plan is ultimate/ultra street. I love small tire racing and it fits the bill a little more than x275. I've thrown around the idea of an index car but I think I'm going small tire.
