A4 Rear Gears Looking to do a gear upgrade for the Camaro. I've read a bunch of posts, but I still can make up my mind. My choice is between 3.73s and 3.90s. The car is bolt on's, with plans to go with a wet NX system....eventually. I don't daily drive it, the only time the car is out of the garage is to go to a car show or the drag strip. I'm willing to sacrifice daily drivability. I also plan on purchasing some 17x11 and 17x9.5 ZR1 replica's from OE wheels in the rear with some drag radials out the back. How bad will this setup eat up my rear end? The car only sees about 3500 miles a year. Thanks for any and all guidance!
Assuming your going to stay bolt on and use the n2o I would go with the 3:73's. If nitrous wasn't in the equation I would go with the 3:90's. Won't eat up the rear but I would recommend getting somebody with exp. to set it up because the lash has to be near perfect for it to last any amount of time. If your spraying out the hole it wont last long anyways...lol
