Default Building of The Mistress

Old combo was stock short block LS1 with LS6 stage 1 heads, torquer 3 cam, Mamo ported fast 90 w/ NW 90 tb, Yank SS 4k stall, 12-bolt w/3.73's, built 4L60E, and all bolt-ons, ran a best of 10.91@123 with a 1.43 60' at Atlanta dragway.

Now time for the new build

RHS block 427 with a whipple 2.9 supercharger backed with a braked turbo 400.
First I started by removing alot of unwanted weight off the car. Pulled seats, seatbelts, crap under carpet, door bars, all A/C and heat stuff, both air bags, cowl, wipers and motor, ABS, front and rear bumper supports, all hood latch stuff, stock steering wheel, stock shifter, front inner fenders and liners, all stereo components, not used wires, antenna, parking brake, cables and dust shields, throttle cable and cruise control and power steering.

So far I have installed a new 5" VFN sloped to windshield hood with Dzus fasteners
Kirkey pro race seat
Grant steering wheel and quick release hub
CM 6-point cage, will finish to 10 point
SJM Line Lock

I have ordered all Spohn adj. tubular
K-member
Solid motor mounts
upper and lower control arms
Pinto manual steering rack
QA1 18 way adj R series shocks with 275lb springs

What I will be ordering soon
Hurst pistol grip shifter/ custom bracket to use factory console
SJM ABS delete kit
front and rear bumper supports from MWC
battery reloc. w/box from Tick performance
Lonnies double pumper fuel pump w/ stage 3 lines
Spohn drag bar
Spohn tunnel mounted adj. Torque arm

Time for some pics

Now some of the tear down

Now a few of what is going back on the car
New gauge cluster

New hood and rails

So far that is all I have done and waiting on parts

I found that 6literdesigns made the dash piece, I just had to modify my cluster so it would fit flush in the dash, I also got a piece that covers the hole where my stereo and a/c controls were, it is made from just ABS plastic.

what are your goals power/e.t. wise? A blown 427 should be a fun ride!

Also are those led's under the dash?

Sick build man. I just started the very lengthy wheight reduction process. How did you manage to get the door bars off? Did you drill holes or pull them out by the fenders.

Sick build you have going on. On your old gauge cluster. The little black plastic stock that resets your trip meter... Would you still happen to have that. I'm in need of one.
