The Borla's are alittle quieter than open headers, but
they tone the sound down.
That's the main thing for me, toning the sound.
I'm pretty sure with an x-pipe it would be quieter, but
my car is a track only car.

I have vibrant resonators off the headers, they are quieter than I thought they would be. I drive it on the street to and from the track and to work sometimes

But now looks similar to chewy99ws6.
Are you happy with the Borla's or did you expect it to be quieter? I guess I'll hear it soon. Btw I have a set of year old slicks if you need a set but I would run drag radials for the track if the rest of your suspension is in line.

I might be interested when u sell them. Find me a part number for reference. I'm wanting to eliminate my x pipe and old mufflers to run some off the header. If the price is right I will buy soon. Sound clips of the set up??

I'm in for the sound clips of this!

I'm in this same exact boat, and yet to find a sound clip of an LS F-body with XR1s of the headers.

My Kooks are stepped from 1 7/8 to 2" with a 3 1/2" collector. Going to run a 4" Inlet Oval case XR1. Wish they made a 4" in the muti core.

Yes this is true, but only in a round case not oval. To big around to hang from the driver's side of a street driven F-Body in Louisiana...

How did those headers fit? Any issues with them clearing the streering shaft or k member?

Also, where did you order them from? I looked on the ARH website, and don't even see an option for the 2" headers with 4" collectors.

Are these nitrous cars?

Yeah, nitrous is the plan for mine. You think the 4" collector would be too much? Not even sure if 1/2" makes any difference or not.
