Hope you like it loud. I've ran those before, very little difference in those and open headers. Just a different pitch in sound compared to open.

I don't feel 3.5" collectors would have hurt you at all on the nitrous. I run 3.5" collectors on a 440 with 350-400shot. I also had it ran to the rear end with dual 3.5" into a Y then a single 4.5" to the rear. Ill probably upgrade to 2" stepped to 2 1/8" into 4" collectors. The problem is I've already smashed my header collectors 2x last year. When you get into rpms north of 8k and 400 plus worth of nitrous I don't think you can fit anything to large.

I didnt pick the exact header and collector size. I bought them from a guy brand new for 850 when ARH usually go for 1100+ for that size. So I figured that those headers were close enough i dont think that there gonna hurt my combo.

wow that's quieter than I thought it would be. are those the round or the oval dynatechs?
how is it cruising down a street? way louder than idle or is it still toned down alot from the open headers? Id love to do this with turndowns if its quiet enough to drive it 20 mins to a cruise night every few weeks. may still be a bit too loud to drive in town ever. whats your opinion now that you have them?

You went with the oval case ones. Yeah, I bet they are a lot more quiet! Sounds wicked too...

When you said Dynatech split flow, I automatically thought the little round split flows that are about 10" long. That's the ones I ran that were not very quiet at all.

I went back and read, and may have over looked it, but what setup were you running before the Dynas?

Thanks! I think I'll do that soon. Should be a good weight savings and sound good too (though I do like my Hooker catback).

Speaking of weight saving by going with dumps has anybody thought of these?

They are Vibrant aluminum mufflers and weigh less than 2 lbs a piece. $189 from ebay for both
