Default Where will too much tire hurt me?

I am looking at a good deal on some 15" wheels and tires but the kicker is the rears are Hoosiers 28X10X15. I have 425rwhp but I only have a 3:23 gear. Will this tire hurt my 60' as well as my ET or only my ET? Yea I know this is a dumb question but I dont have alot of experience with this. Thanks

it really depends on your combo but yah it would probably hurt your et,mph, 60's a good bit...you want to go with the smallest diameter tire you can and still hook is the basic rule of thumb especially with those gears.

Might slow you down a tenth and a MPH compared to 26" tires. Then again, if the track is so that you would spin a little with a 26" tire, you might go quicker. It just depends.

Yup, hard to say. Logically on first impression, yes that tire will hurt you with that small of a gear. You are making enough HP to potentially make use of a tire that big, but prolly not with that baby gear.

To answer your Q, it could hurt you everywhere..sixty foot(thus ET) and MPH.
