Can't quite get the 10's huh!!!! I just bought some Weld Pro Star Xp 16 X 8,5 with M&H Racemaster "cheater slicks",, tubes, and they hook pretty well on the street. The tires are 26 X 11.5 X 16. I haven't had a chance to go to Muncie yet this season...hopefully soon.
I think Hosier QTP makes a full slick in 16 inch, however they are fairly tall. What are your short times now???

I went to the track a couple of weeks ago with my new stage 3 clutch and torque arm. and snapped a axle so I got the moser 12 bolt rearend now 33 spline. just got it back from the shop so I can run a full slick now. my best 60ft is still 1.60 on et streets. I hope to get a set of tires before next weds so I can run I can let it rip off the line now. hope to see you up there..

Dont tell me you broke an axle!!!!! I still have the stock 10 bolt, bt since I am an auto, its going to live longer....I don't know if I can make it down this Wednesday...It will depepnd on how nice of a day it is...its about 90 minutes each way for me and I will have to haul tires and jack....
You need some more suspension work or to heat the tire more/less psi...I run 1.66 on 17 inch drag radials (last year) at Muncie....I don't think you will see a big difference with full slicks (although I did on my vette), most F-body guys don't. Put 12-14 psi in them, heat the **** out of them and launch at 6,000 rpm. I would like to see how my little mods helped over the winter, I would love to run 11.3-11.5 of the bottle. I am trying to get my shocks and sprigs installed tomorrow...I will look for you down there if I go (My Camaro is maroon with Boyd wheels)...

go for hoosier quick time pro's, they are available in 26x9.5x16's. they hook real hard, require less heat than the mt's. available in summit/jegs/whatever for about 170 each. great tires, i know a lot of guys that have gone very fast with them.
