Default Is 3300lb or less in my car possible?

I'm in the middle of some upgrades and I'm trying to figure out what the car is gunna weigh... from what I understand a stock auto Trans Am with a flat hood is around 3550? my weight mods are as follows-
-fiberglass ram air hood
-ac system, jack, spare, air pump system, rear seats and seat belts, the front bumper support, the four rear speakers, and monsoon amp, little stuff like sun visors, washer fluid tank, and bunch of matting from under the carpet, are all gone.
-I'm running race stars, skinnies up front, 275/50s in the back. I'll be making super light weight bumper supports, and when I'm at the track I'll have both of my leather trans am seats out, and have one Kirkey seat. I'll also have a Chromoly 4 point cage, so I'm trying to offset that, and still have a lighter trans am. I want to keep most of my interior besides the rear seats. what do you think it would weigh?

Just to compare. My car (stock 2000 ws6 ram air) upper and lower radiator support gone, no ac stuff under hood, all stock interior still intact, stock wheels and tires, half tank of fuel, 3 gallon methanol in the separate tank, t56 with stock style clutch and flywheel weight. S475 turbo, intercooler, all piping and components. All rest of car was stock as well. 3400lbs on the dot. Im sure manual stuff is a little lighter than auto though. Im sure you could get down to that. Especially with race wheels and skinnies and well as radio/speakers gone, matting, etc.

I'm doing my best to not cut TOO much out of the car, but seems like it's the only way

I feel for you TA guys. Camaros are easy to get light. I think you should be able to hit that goal though. I got my car to 3240 fairly easy and that was still with heat, stock seats and heavy *** 17x11 ZR1 wheels.

If you are going to put the stock rear seats in you can cut all your brackets out. Those add up. There's many places on the car you can cut that are hidden.

I'll never understand why people cut their cars to hell. Stupid as **** IMO.

You're on the right track to be a racecar it looks like, lol. As said brackets, assuming you removed the front swaybar and the brackets that that holds onto? I did mine the other day and I removed my AIR pump a while back but forgot the bracket that holds that in...so that's a little bit of weight saved. You could delete ABS as well (and put in a line lock at the same time...they are nice to have) which would save some weight (I personally don't like ABS, some do, whatever). You could do lightweight carpet, it's not that expensive just a PITA to install from what I've seen. Moving your battery to the trunk would free up weight under the hood too and you could even get a smaller battery to save weight but it does cost for that.

because these cars are turds and there is no reason to NOT cut a car that is not special run car.... If you have number 99 of 1,000 cars made its a different story. but a run of the mill trans am or z-28. why not cut it up? It has very little value, depending on mileage but more than likely under $7,000 unless its low mileage. IMO a SS or WS6 is no different. personally I wouldnt take a 10,000-25,000 mile car and cut it up. but 50,000 miles+ you better stand back b/c sparks are about to fly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We used to say the same thing about the 67-69 Camaros, 62-72 Novas, 65-72 Chevelles LOL. My dad and his friends cut up 1st gen Vettes, 55-57 Chevys etc.

But, I would still do it. Because RACECAR.

This + it's my ******* car and I'll do what I want to it lmao. I have a lowly Z28 that was non leather, Ttops or TC. The places I have taken weight out of and cut up are fairly inconspicuous. I will eventually have a cage so I didn't mind either.

I will agree it might not be the best idea to cut up a rare pristine Fbody that you drive a lot. But for me I always wanted a racecar that is streetable that is no holds barred, in your face aggressive. I can live without a lot of creature comforts ( that's what my daily is for).

If I ever buy antoher Fbody it will retain it's stock factoryness lol

Yea I'm sure people will think that one day about our cars but oh well. There's enough people out there that won't so they should be fine lol

My car with MWC front bumper support, no hvac whatsoever and all ducting removed. No rear seats all brackets associated with. With an aluminum block and t56, zr1 wheels, single din cd player, no air, none of that crap that everyone typically removes, my car with a quarter tank of gas and me in it (180lbs) weighted in at 3440. This is with the electric driver seat and electric windows. I have a lot more planned, with a 9 inch and 4130 10-point I would like to weigh 3400lbs. I have no "lightweight" parts like k-member or anything like that.

Your only limited to how crazy you want to get and how much time and money you want to put into it.

I personally am a weight reduction ***** because the better majority of it is free.

Brakes are worth so much in terms of lbs saved. I had contemplated keeping stock fronts and going drag brakes in the rear.

My car weighed 3430 stock and 3140 last time on the scales. That'a with the factory SS wheels, front bar on it, 1/2 tank of gas, jack and spare in it, fab 9 in it as was normal dd crap. It still has ac, cruise, all seats(fronts are carbon race seats) and belts, all but 2 little patches of sound deadening. I did take the air bags out, they are 20lb for both. Not really why I took them out though.

With my drag pack, no front bar, jack/spare gone, cleaned out and it goes 3050~ depending on fuel load.

There are lots of places to get weight off these cars. Removing 200lb is cake
