Car most likely does not have enough weight transfer. A good set of shocks and and maybe a tunnel mount torque arm will help. Your poly bushing suspension parts aren't helping matters, but not killing it either.

I have the BMR lowering springs in back with QA1 single adj. shocks and 275lb springs up front. Car hooks great. Some adj shocks will help a ton. The tunnel mount will also help, and I'd keep the LCA's in the bottom hole.

Yea, I have qa1's all around. The 275#'ers are the qa1 brand. They're actually getting to the point where they need to be rebuilt since they're leaking. After this season I may pick up some double adjustable if I can get the extra $$$

If you're full weight, go with the 300# or 315#. My car sits really low in the front due to the light springs and full nose weight.

I didn't even think about that. I run the same tire, but I'm completely stock engined. But even a stock LS1 shouldn't have problem with traction once the weight transfers. The HD shocks are more of a road shock than straight line. While fine in the rear, I don't think it's allowing the nose to rise and shift the weight rearward. But that's my opinion.

First the tires are not too short, I'd try putting more air in the tires. I ran 275/50/15 M/T drag radials on my Camaro with stock suspension. 22-24psi was best, I dropped to 20psi and it spun a little bit, then dropped it down to 18psi it spun even harder. Put the psi back up to 22psi and it hooked, I've found that radials do not like low tire psi like slicks do. My car was bolt-ons and 150 shot, auto w/ 3600 stall, 275/50/15 M/T drag radials, completely stock suspension. It dead hooked and ran 11.40's with 1.59 60'.

I had a problem last year with tire spin, I removed the LCA relo brackets and it helped a ton. Over this past winter did some careful weight removal to change bias and now the car dead hooks on same tire you're running. Stock original springs and shocks, LCA's, short TA, and a dray/sway bar for suspension work.

The good shocks will use a lighter weight spring with whatever rate works for your combo. The rear springs are borderline for what you're doing, but you can go with a rear coil-over setup if you desire adjustable ride height and custom rate springs as well. You can easily sell off your existing spring set and recoup that money toward the right parts for your needs, then the out of pocket expense won't really be that bad.

It really depends on what the car is used for. A daily driver won't be very nice on an expensive set of adjustable drag shocks, trust me I know. Is this a weekend warrior or a daily driver? That and budget are going to determine what parts you order.

I like the QA1's, but I'm sure a sponsor can get you a good deal on a new set. But I would definitely go with at least single adjustables.
