theres a sticky on weight reduction on the top of this forum section , check that out for starters ..
then theres the old adage "take away the ounces and the pounds will follow" so if its simple to remove and you don't need it for your purposes remove it and watch the pounds add up

Along with deleted AC, PA racing front suspension, deleted spare tire etc.

I still had my air bags, horn, and everything safety related except for the ABS because that didn't work with my rear end at the time- I never touched any of the crash supports either
It should get you rolling in the right direction on how to think anyways
