How difficult is it to take the backseat out and put it back in?

Very simple. Remove seat belt brackets first. Use a Torx T35 bit.
Under the actual seats, in the middle, by the carpet, there is one 13mm bolt holding the seat to the floor. Use a deep socket to remove it.
After that's removed, you can remove the seat back by taking out two bolts holding it down at the hinge. Not sure what size they are though.
