2quickmobile gets new best on Oct. 28
For these runs, the only weight reduction I did was removing the back seat and passenger seat. I ran at 3,500 lbs race weight and ran on my ET Streets. On my first run (after driving 2 hours to the track) in street MAFT tune and cut-out closed I ran an 11.80, so I knew it was going to be a good day.
After opening my cutout, I ran my best pass on the 4th pass of the day. It was an 11.721 at 115.19 mph on a 1.58 60' . This is my very best ever 60'. I then adjusted my MAF Translator richer but the track got slippery and while I didn't better my 11.72 I did get a new best trap speed of 115.83 mph . These runs were made without skinnies on the front as I don't have any.
John, have you tried out the LCA relocation brackets? I got some in last week and im going to put them on the car wed. Let me know what you think of them?

Yes, I put some on last weekend and I tried them out yesterday at Steele. I wasn't really able to tell much. The weather was quite a bit worse yesterday then when I ran on Oct. 28th. The density altitude was 1000 ft or above when I ran my best run of 11.86 @ 114.67 with a 1.62 60'. As the air got better later in the day, the track got very slick as 450 or so cars were running that day, most with street tires. So when I started making power, I couldn't hook. I was running low 11.9Xs on 1.78 60' times and spinning all the way through first gear.
The good news is that I bought some skinnies from Jose at the track yesterday, so the next time out I will be toting skinnies.

Harold,
The 3.73's will raise your trap speed. They raise your trap speed because they raise the average rpm and therefore the average hp produced down the length of the track. If I remember right they were good for about 1 mph trap speed and .05 reduction in 60' time.
I'm not too far behind ya John! My PCM will be here from Ed Wright on Wednesday, and the 3.73's go in on Thursday. I should hit 11's with those two considering my LOW shift points and tq. mgt. problems, but I certainly don't expect to see some 11.7's yet! Did you make any passes w/ out locking the converter? I'm curious as to how much MPH can be gained by locking the Vig 3200.

Trevor,
If I remember correctly, the lock up switch is worth about 1 mph trap speed with the Vig3200. I usually lock up the converter just past the 660 ft mark.
It looks like you have been very busy lately.
Good luck!!
