Colonel, you should add the dash replacement, someone here told me it weighs 4 lbs. I don't know what the stock dash weighs but 4 lbs seems light.

We weighed mine once. Seems like it was about 15-20 lbs. That's a BIG dash! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

I weighed the stock power steering pump, bracket, lines, fluid, pulley, and bolts at 11 pounds.

Any car that doesn't have power steering is a race car IMHO.

JS, this is kind of "off topic" but seriously.. I would look into Xenadrine or Hydroxycut for weight loss.. They have a new formula now with no ephidrine.. I am a pretty solid guy and lost 30 lbs in like 2 months.. I am only 175-180 from 205.. I swear by the stuff man...

BTW: you can get in online for around 22.00.
GNC has the same stuff for 40 +

With a lightweight car and skinnies, power steering really isn't necessary. I can drive mine with one hand even at parking lot speeds with no problem.

LOL! Yeah, that being the lightest of all colors (actually, white technically isn't a color at all. Neither is black.)

Thanks for the block weight info. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

I was told once by FJ Smith that the power windows are actually lighter. I haven't weighed mine but not going to <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

has anyone instead of taking there ps pump off & driving tried to install manual steering so it would be easier as well as loose the weight & hp loss of the stock setup. i drove my lumina for 2 years without powersteering & my arms were hard as rocks.
