My worthless .02 is this. Keep racing brackets if you dont want a heads up bolt-on class. Index racing is designed to let different makes of cars compete more fair and has no use when your dealing with the same type of car IMO. Its not THAT hard to tech the class. Check for obvious stuff, run a vacuum test and ban anyone caught cheating for 1 year. I would keep my car a bolt on car if you make it heads up with a liveable raceweight and who cares if you dont have ac or power steering? That doesn't take away from steetability. Anyway, I would love a heads up bolt-on class. Index it and I would choose something else.

This would be an awesome idea, I am building a car for this right now BUT it would be pretty hard to tell if a motor is internally stock. This would require trusting peoples word. But there is always "that guy".
