Here is a small update for anyone interested.
We went to Lights Out 6 in Georgia back in late February. We qualified 17th out of 64 cars in X275 with a 4.62 @ 157.
We won first round against Shawn Ayers with my best pass to date, 4.608 @ 157 mph with a 3455# race weight. We ended up having too hot of a tuneup in the car for second round and we spun. We had a great weekend and a nice string of killer passes.
We went to Memphis about a month ago for the Outlaw Street Car Reunion and were dealt some crappy weather. We made one test hit in the friday night test session. I pedaled it and still went a 5.0 @ 155 mph. With the rain/snow/sleet we had on saturday during qualifying, I decided to pull out and go home. No sense in wrecking the car with the cold temps (40 degrees) and unfortunate weather.
We will be back out in a little over a week for some local races now that the weather has turned for the better.
Here are some pictures I found of the car online at the races...

Yes we did, multiple times. I have been 4.67 at almost 158 too.
This is still a 4.090 inlet F1X blower. I also have a new 4.200 F1X with all of the latest and greatest updates still in the box as backup when needed. That one is supposed to pick up some HP too.

We do have videos but it seems everyone posted them to my facebook wall and not on youtube. I will have to see what I can do to get them over onto youtube.

[QUOTE=Blown06;18772466]Are these blowers modified by SME with their pro-volute?
I'm not doubting at all, its just that 157-158 mph in the 1/8th at 3450 lbs takes like 2000 hp. We all know the f1x is underrated by procharger......but this is extreme.[/QUOTE
This has been a fast car for many years with nitrous.
Just getting better with the procharger.

The F1X is a very efficient blower, and has shown time and time again that it will make more power than an F2. The only blower I will step up to sometime is the F1X-12. That's an F3 version...basically a slightly smaller version of the F3-121 with a 4.200 inlet. That's another badass blower too. We are gear driven and no belts here.
BTW, we already have charge pipes and blower inlets made for the big F1X-12 or F3 blowers

Brian put the car away after Duck's race in September due to indications of a tired engine. Nothing major planned as of now, just freshen the engine, trans, and a complete new rearend setup with a handful of goodies going with it
. Good chance of a new set of stainless custom headers too.
