Short belt gains ??

Looking for small advantages going into the cool weather. Are there any measurable gains from the short belt? If you think so, and have a part # handy, I'll take it! Thanks.

3-4rwhp is typically seen with the shortbelt.

Actually Hot Rod mag said 3 tenths <img src="images/icons/shocked.gif" border="0"> but it was a typo. Real results are .03 as stated above. If you want a good laugh, just ask Tony about the Hot Rod typo. <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

What are you guys bypassing? I would run a short belt if the only thing I was bypassing was the power steering. Is it harmful in anyway to bypass the PS?
