Texas tracks open year-round?
Just think of the racing conditions in NJ in the winter, sea level and 30F weather equals killer times! Perhaps I should visit my friends in NJ this winter for my first voyage down the track with my 95 Formula.
I heard that some of the NJ tracks stay open all year round unless there is snow on the track, is this true? I know the GMHTP has been able to run at E town in January, but that might not mean there is regular test and tune there.

Atco closes for a couple weeks during the holidays but I think they open back up either late Jan or early Feb if the track isn't covered

You might want to try river city raceway near San Antonio too.

That's my plan! RCR is open through the middle of December, and then they'll shut down until next year. It's right at the same distance to RCR as it is to HRP from Dallas, but RCR is a LOT more lack on their tech. So, I could run 11's all night with no cage and not have any problems.
Ryan - I'm looking to make a trip down there in December if you want to go. In the mean time, you can check out their schedule at www.rivercityracewayinc.com
