Default Guess my ET............

with whats in my sig......Assume a good hook.
Its full weight, full interior.

150 TNT wet shot out of the whole?

Then a 150 wet shot out of the hole and then a progressively controlled 150 DP shot coming on shortly after?

Low 10's, I'd say 10.20's.

2 reasons...

1. You will probably be racing at Moroso... lol

2. Your full weight and full interior, will be tough to get in the 9's

I personally would leave the car just as it is, that setup you have is one sweet street rod.

Also forgot to mention... you said assuming a good hook.. hrmm 436ci + 150 shot off the line...gunna need have your suspension and tires dialed in.

When are you getting the car back? I think you should put a slick on that car to get the times you want.

i think it will be hard pressed to get that thing to 135+ considering the weight and track. screw that track and come to BMP where 1.4 will be easy with a good tire.

this also assumes a good drag racing driver.

ideally 9.90s should be easy in the internet world. i would say shoot for 10.50s as is. and pray those sleaves hold on.

I'll definitely go to BMP for a night.

Your thinking maybe 10.50's on motor as is?

Or with the 150 shot?

Engine is shipping back to Norris Motorsports next week, so 3 days shipping and however long it takes to get it in. Mike has had the car sitting in his bay for over a month so I think he wants it out of there, he's been totally cool about it, no problem at all.

Gotta drive it for 800 miles, then have it dyno tuned with the wet shot.

Thats what I'm afraid of. If that happens, a TH400 w/GV overdrive goes in.

If I was smart I would just keep the bitch on the street like I planned. I'll definitely give it a couple runs on motor. Maybe I'll have the 150 wet shot come in 2nd gear or something like that.

10.50 because of weight and lack of drag racing experience, track time.

Get some Hoosier slicks and go to Bradenton, or come here to Olando on Fri June11 for Quick 32 test -tune, track prep will be great for the 200+MPH dragsters. Nice meeting you Lyle and i`ll probably see you at Mikes when you pick up your car. Good luck Dave

If you have never been to the track and/or taken that car to the track your debut might be end up with you making a list of things to change. If you could get a guy like Norris to come with you I think you would be in better shape to dial the car in.

I went 11.02 with my old ARE 422ci iron block a few years ago at 3550 raceweight. I've seen a number of big cube street cars go 10.8-11.2's.

11.1 at 125 mph on motor. The Vig 3200 won't get it for you on that motor and a slick. It's better for street/highway runs which is what you bought it for right.

The 150 is going to be a simple matter of practice. Don't panic, don't stress, take your time and the 4L60E will last because vig still isn't going to get it on the juice. Look for 10.4 spinning at 133mph run if you get 6-10 runs on the gas for the night.

Is the car really faster than these predicted speeds??? Yes... but it's simple practice, tire pressure, shock tune, finding the launch RPMs that gets you just enough wheel spin and suspension tuning which takes some time. The faster times will come.

I think that PI3200 won't be too bad to start with, it should stall maybe up to 4000 behind a bigger motor if it was a 3200 to start with.

If I could do it all over again I would have run it longer on a 26 or a 27 and not gone to a 28. I might have also went to a 3.70 and pulled the 4.11's.

lyle get practice driving your car on motor and hooking then go with the juice.

drag racing is power to weight, suspension, and all dependant on the first 60'
