what the........ My 98 ss M6 ran a 13.21 @ 108 .. short time was 2.1 on cooper radials....I think the car should be faster...it has 4.10 rear, mti airbox lid, an aftermarket mass air, Borla cat back, Eibach springs, k&n filter, and the hppIII. Question is? Do i install the power tune or just the options, ive heard some go faster without it.. and oh yea...drag radials are on the way!

There is a bunch of factors:
1) Track prep - where are you racing?
2) You launch rpm's - when you get the DR, you need to be launching at 4500+ or what ever the track will hold
3) What are your shift points? Should be at 5,900-6000rpms
4) How are you shifting? Granny (not good); IMO the best way to shift an M6 is powershifting
You'll easly see 12's real soon.

Re: what the........ track location? is it a high elevation track? the dr's should help you out with your times to bring them down, and your mph might also go up as well. how was the weather on that run? high humidity at all? weather conditions will affect your performance as well. hope this helps. and just try taking the power tuning out and see what happens. it helps if you have autotap to watch your timing and knock retard and your 02's. good luck

Re: what the........ There is a LOT left to be desired in that 60' time. With a 1.9 short time in decent weather your 12 will come. 108 is plenty of mph for a high 12 second time slip.

Thanks y'all.....the way i was leaving on those runs was about 1500 - 2000 dump..and bog the motor of the line..then the car would haze the tires through first and second....the track was hallsville, tx on about an 85 degree day...even then it would spin out of the hole...after that it was ok...
