with the 255/50/16 stock tires. And btw, any guesses to what I would run, w/a 2.0 short time. 13-6@104 2.3-60'
Thanks
Alan

I'll take a guess. About 13.15?

I believe Big Mike (on LS1, don't know if he has gotten here yet) has gotten a 1.7 60' on the stock F1's

Is this true?? He cut a 1.7 on F1's with a 6sp car, now that is amazing . What track was this at??
Well Misty, you can buy it or you don't... doesn't matter. I'm not sure at which track it was, he did say but I don't remember now. He has no reason to lie I believe his car runs 11's... but regardless of what it runs, a 1.7 60' on street tires is AMAZING.

No kidding, alot of guys that know how to transfer the weight to launch can do a 60 like that....my b/f can do 1.89 shorts on Nittos and stock 3.42's, its all in the launch. I got alot of 11's cars in my club....but they have DR's on or M/T ET's on.
Me however...I suck cannot get better then a 2.2 on F1's, but they came off today for Nitto DR's and I will be at the track next weds...I hope I can get a 2.0 and get a mid 13 run in atleast a 105-106 trap
Update to that later!
Don't compare your 60' or ET's or MPH to national Internet numbers. Compare it to people at YOUR track the same day. Some tracks are AWFUL. Ours has grass growing in the lanes, and you can EASILY spin stock F1's past the 1/8mi marker. 2.3's are pretty good on stock rubber.
I'm positive a stock LS1 could cut a 1.9 60' on stock tires under the right conditions. But few of us get the chance to find out. As soon as we realize that traction is a big issue, we get more rubber. It's cheaper than buying a new dragstrip.
I heat ET streets up at 17psi and launch at 3000 rpm and spin all through first gear to a 1.9 60'. Some of it is my fault, but DAMN, those are some sticky meats. You'd think 3000 rpm would bog, but it won't.
