New Track Times Laura and I took a weekend trip down to San Diego to get away from LA for a couple days, and while I was down there I hit Carlsbad raceway today. Unfortunately as soon as I paid $34 to get us in, unloaded the car (it was packed with stuff for the weekend), put my tires on, uncorked my exhaust, etc, it started raining. I got one clean pass on, and I had to run my wipers to see the staging lights (no joke).
Result was 11.76@116.57 1.805 60' time.
My goal is 11.4@118, but I'll probably have to wait for a nice cool dry day and some 3.73s for that. <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> Once I get my 11.4 I'll throw the new MMS 375ci motor in. To make myself feel better I'll probably spray a 100 shot at LACR Wed. Tom the Roofer will be out here, and there is no way I'm going to let him beat me… <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">
