New best of 10.40 at 133mph
I hadn't really had a chance to post this today but as you probaby guessed, we went to the track last night. We ran an 11.59 at 116 on motor. The second pass was a 100 shot that yielded a 10.86 at 126. We used VHT on the passes and it stuck great!!! The last pass was on a 100 shot and then another 150 in second gear. The car launched like a bass ***, but spun the tires when he applied the other 150. It still went 10.40 at 133. The dew was very bad. In fact, my camcorder gave me a high moisture level warning and would not allow me to video the runs. The car also twisted very badly on the launch. So, a new weldin sway bar and some halshocks are in need before we head back out there. We figure that the weather alone cost us at least 2 or 3 tenths in addition to the spin in second. So, we can't wait to get it back out. Laters.
