My second time to the strip
Went out last wensday night to GLD out in the GROVE. The weather was perfect for racing and there wasn't a lot of people out so I got to make ten runs that night. The best was a 13.595 1/4 @ 103.96 with a 2.081 60'. Thats with a SLP lid and LM cat back. In my sig you'll see what I ran stock so it improved a little and I am happy with that. Can't wait till I have the money for a T/C which is the next mod to be done. The plus for whole night I got to smoke some rich kid in an AUDI S4 runnig his mouth off to his buddy saying he was going to make my car look silly. He's the silly one.

Nice.
I recall some www.mfba.org folks running 12.7-12.8's with a stall converter and 2.73's.
Don't forget to run a 19,000 ~gvw trans cooler too.
I consider GLD my home track since it's only 50 miles for me vs 90 for Byron and 85 for US41.

Will do for sure.
www.mfba.org is good to check too on occasion.
I prefer Tuesdays or Wednesdays at GLD.

I guess you got lucky that the "rich kid" couldn't drive for spit.
First time ever at the strip. Only mods were ECU chip and catback exhaust...full weight. I've added "a thing or two" since then.
Maybe I'll see you at the Grove this summer. I'm sick of picking on 'Stangs and Evos.
