I got the car back from paint last night. The color is Electrical Blue Pearl, Thee Panitshoppe here in Arizona did a great job. I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Pictures don't do it any justice, it look amazing in person.

I have a few things that need to be finished, then it's off to the track to get everything dialed in and bugs worked out.

Looks awesome! Are full repainted pretty pricey in AZ? Did you have roof bubbles?

It's a 98 so he shouldn't have had roof bubble issues. I'd also like to know what the full repaint cost you?

I didn't have any bubbles to worry about. I only had them paint the outside, I did the jams and engine bay myself. As far as price I had them paint my trailer at the same time as the car so I got a package price. Not sure exactly what they charge for car alone. I got several quotes from other places ranging from $2500 to $4300 for car only.

Been a while, so here is an update as to what's been going on this year. I've been doing some racing and a lot of test-n-tune passes The car was dyno tuned back in January, then took it to the track, was very disappoint in track times. Made a torque converter change, which the car liked a lot, picked up 2 tenths in 60' alone, was feeling better about has things were going. Best pass on nitrous was 10.64@129. Spent most of the spring time racing all motor in 11.50 and 7.50 index class. Even won the first 7.50 race.

Was dealing with suspension issues, up to 150 shot of nitrous the car was fine, 175 or more and the car had quite a bit of wheel hop even ruined a set of drag radials because of it.

Down sized from 325/50 to 295/55 Hoosier radial and added a Midwest Chassis anti-roll bar, got it all adjusted correct and that is when things start to come around. Got the car to run a bit quicker

Stepped nitrous up to .078 jet. Best 1/4mi. Et at that point was 10.11@ 134 with a 6000'da. Been running mostly 1/8mi stuff over the running 6.31-6.33, should be good enough for some 9 sec 1/4mi times.

The front end is coming up too quick and too high

Now working on getting the front end to stay down, thanks to advice from Eric at MWC I'm making some front suspension changes.

Planning to run 235 Limited at SCSN in Nov.

Been a busy couple month getting ready to run Limited 235 at Street Car Super Nationals. Kind of lost our way with the car. I changed too much all at one time. Thinks weren't working, so I took a couple steps back, regroup and I'm making progress again. Now Street Car Super Nationals is over I'm make adjustment and changes getting ready for 2016.

I have learned so much from talking to Eric at Midwest Chassis, his product quality and customer service is amazing. He has been great this year I ask question, his opinion, I show him pictures and videos of how the car reacts at launch. He gives me tips, ideas, advice and so have other radial tire racers. I got the car back down to 6.3-6.4, with 1.3x 60' on a 235/60/15 drag radial.

I added 40lb too much in the rear of the car and cut a 1.47 60' with back tires

Default 98 Camaro weld/ Jeg rim setup

Goal!ZR1 replica 17’s offset. Rear tire 315/35/17Stock tire size

I love the look of the weld draglites. Does anyone know the tire and wheel setup.? That will best fit my Camaro SS. Wheel spacing, rim size, and tire size. And also if there is any modifications to the wheel well needed?
