Just got back from the track
...... I managed a few 14.00s and 14.1s as well with trap speeds of 104. after 4 runs my rear end started making a poping noise anytime I turned. But IDC because my ford 9" is almost built
Let me know some helpful hints or just comment good or bad on my times
Being your are on street tires you can't shock the drivetrain. Try and preload the clutch (where it almost moves the car). This will help reduce the hit.
When I used to run radials I used to air them down to like 20psi or so. Disconnecting the front swaybar also helps weight transfer. With practice and what I mentioned you should be able to get down to the 2.0 or high 1.9 range.
