I have A4, 3:73 & 26' Et's & my car shifts into OD the very second that I cross the traps, so it couldn't be more perfect. So 6200 for me. Air set at 15.

About 5800 for me. I'm going with the 26x10.5" ET Street rather than the 11.5". Sould give me a little more gear and more rpm's through the traps <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

I've yet to take it to the strip since the gear swap, so I don't know. It should be in the 5,800 RPM range or so for me. I hope to make it to the 1/4-mile track next week. I'm going to see how it does in the 1/8 tomorrow.

Harold, I don't know how you are doing it, but I run around 5,900 thru the traps with the same trans, converter, rear gear, and tires. How do you get it up to 6,200?

I dont know, maybe the 60' has something to do with it. Are you cutting 1.52? If not, that might explain it, I might be winding out quicker. Do you have the underdrive pulley? Could also be the fact that I leave it in OD, and that might be short shifting it? I hit the rev limiter when I leave it in D. I know it couldn't be more perfect with the current setup. If I changed cams or with nitrous, it might be different.

I'd guess it's the mph differnce that causes it.

I wouldn't make the swap to 3.73's if you're looking to run N2O. JMO
