I'm getting a light soon... but need to know what color is the least bothersome at night(vision wise)

Red is the best color that won't affect your night vision at all. Blue is the worst you could use because the high frequency of blue light doesn't contract the lens of your eye and it temporarily burns an impression into your cornea. Go in a dark room and flash a red light in your eye and see that it doesn't affect your night vison. Then flash a blue light in your eye and you'll see lights after it's off.

Fact is I rarely see it on the street cause I can't shift at 6400 or else it gets sideways pretty bad.
It actually looks pretty cool being red because all of the gages in a TA are red. Most people didn't realize it wasn't factory.
